Puteri Indonesia 2016, the 20th Puteri Indonesia pageant was held on February 19, 2016 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia. Anindya Kusuma Putri, Puteri Indonesia 2015 of Central Java crowned her successor Kezia Warouw of North Sulawesi at the end of the event. All 39 contestants from 34 provinces competed for the crown. The winner will represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2016, while the runners-up will compete at the Miss International 2016 Miss Supranational 2016 and Miss Grand International 2016. Also Miss International 2015 Edymar Martínez of Venezuela attend at the Grand Final Show.

Intan Aletrino (born in Venlo, June 30, 1993; age 23 years) is a student and a model which is also the second runner-up Puteri Indonesia 2016 contest and was crowned as Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2016, Intan comes from Padang, West Sumatra.

Intan Aletrino are usually called Intan born in Venlo, The Netherlands on 30 June 1993. He was the eldest of two children of the couple Ricardo Andre Aletrino (father) and Emirita (mother). Her childhood was spent in the Netherlands until he went to school in bangkus junior high school and then moved to Padang high school. Intan graduated Cum Laude with a degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Andalas.

A 23 year old model and TV presenter, Intan Aletrino is Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2016 (2nd runner-up Puteri Indonesia 2016). Intan speaks 4 languages including English, Dutch, German & Bahasa Indonesia, she stands 1.75m. Intan Aletrino will represent Indonesia at the 2016 Miss Supranational pageant which is expected to be held in Poland on December 2nd, 2016.

in addition, Intan actively participates in social and cultural activities and is also active in the organization. Social activities have been followed, the tree planting activity with Mayor of Padang in 2013, became a motivator in 'Class Inspiration' Indonesia teaching in 2015 and contributed to the rehabilitation of juvenile drug addicts in the city Payakumbuh NGOs. And active in the Association of Uni Uda Tourism Ambassador West Sumatra and is also active in INYS (Netherland Indonesian Youth Society) based in the Indonesian Embassy in Den Haag, Netherlands.
