Netherlands Wins Miss Asia Pasific International 2016

Miss NetherlandsTesa Helena Le Conge, was crowned Miss MissAsia Pasific International 2016 at the pageant event held in Sheridan Resortsand Spa in Puerto Princesa City, in Palawan on November 23, 2016. The show washosted by Miss Asia Pacific Quest 1993 Michelle Aldana and Asia's Got TalentHost Marc Nelson.

Tessa bested 39 other representatives of various countriesand regions and became the titleholder after 11 years of hiatus of the oldestpageant in Asia. The last time that the Miss Asia Pacific International pageantwas held was in 2005 in China.

It was established as the Miss Asia Quest in 1968. Itstarted accepting delegates from the Eastern Pacific region in 1984 and becameknown as the Miss Asia Pacific Quest. At the turn of the millennium, thecontest went beyond the borders of Asia-Pacific and was rebranded as Miss AsiaPacific International pageant. The Philippine Daily Inquirer is a media partnerof the 2016 Miss Asia Pacific International pageant.
