Catalina Cáceres is the New Miss Universe Chile 2016
Miss Universo Chile 2016, the 53st Miss Universo Chile pageant, will be held on November 12th, 2016. María Belén Jerez Spuler will crown her successor at end of the event. One of the sixteen gorgeous contestants who are vying for the Miss Universe Chile 2016 crown will be selected as the winner at the coronation gala. The final competition will consist of swimsuit round, evening gown round, a personal interview round and the final selection. The four rounds will be led by Francisca García-Huidobro.
Miss Universo Chile is a national pageant. The winner of the beauty pageant will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2016 scheduled to be hosted in January 30th, 2017 in Manila, Philippines. The national beauty pageant franchise is owned by Chilevisión.
and Catalina Cáceres is the New Miss Universe Chile 2016 and will represent Chile in Miss Universe 2016 in Manila, Philippines. This is the second time for Catalina competed in the Philippines because in 2014 she had represented Chile in Miss Earth 2014.
25 years of age and a native of Santiago, is the new Miss Universe Chile 2016. Catalina joined the Nuestra Belleza Chile in 2014. She was able to win the pageant and succeeded Natalia Lermanda. She bested 21 other finalists in the said pageant. As part of her responsibilities, Catalina attended the event that was held at Mapocho Station on September 7, 2014.
By winning Miss Earth Chile, Catalina flew to the Philippines in November to compete with other candidates to be Alyz Henrich's successor as Miss Earth. But as the pageant concluded, she failed to place. Miss Earth 2014 was won by Jamie Herrell of the Philippines.
