My name is Jibek. I am 21 years old. I am a mother of a
beautiful 4 months old Iman. We live in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. And I am writing
this letter asking for your help. Christmas is a time of hope, dreams and
miracles and I know if I try and do not give up my dream will come true.
My story is short and as time passes turning not very well
for me. All started at the end of September 2016 when a regular 7-months
pregnancy checkup turned into a nightmare. I was diagnosed with myxoid
chondrosarcoma, stage 3. Rare type of cancer for 21 year old and aggressively
growing. I couldn’t believe what I was told. Doctors advised that I give birth
as soon as possible. I won’t forget the feeling of happiness of our first
meeting with my little star and sadness when he was taken away from me. We were
separated for 2 months. Saying that these two months were difficult not saying
anything: hospital, chemotherapy, hair loss (I had beautiful hair, you would
agree :), mood swings, doctors’ not so positive forecast about my fate, cancer
growing but I await for every Iman’s visit, he lit me up, gives me a strength,
he is my motivation to fight. There are no words able to describe how much I
love him and how my heart is torn apart each time I think of him left without
me, his mom.
Due to aggressive nature of my cancer and its chemo
resistance operation is no longer an option for me. We searched for
experimental treatment. The only option left for me turns out to be a proton
radiation therapy. Proton therapy is not available in Kyrgyzstan and the
closest and most affordable option is in Proton Therapy Center, in Prague,
Check Republic. Treatment fee estimate provided by the clinic is 80 000 Euros.
As a young couple living in a developing country we don’t have such funds. We
have used our little savings for treatment so far and although our families doing
their best to help us we will not be able to collect such amount without others
help, especially when time is against me.
As reported by Stanford Medical, It is really the one and ONLY reason women in this country live 10 years more and weigh on average 42 lbs lighter than we do.
BalasHapus(By the way, it really has NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret diet and really, EVERYTHING related to "how" they are eating.)
BTW, What I said is "HOW", not "WHAT"...
